A Thousand Years part 2( Christina Perri ft. Steve Kazee )

itulah lirik lagu tambahan yang ada pada A Thousand Years part 2. lagu yang dibawakan oleh Christina Perri ini memang tidak banyak berubah. hanya saja Perri ditemani oleh teman duetnya  yaitu Steve Kazee. sungguh lagu yang bagus didengarkan. sangat sulit menolak tersentuh oleh lagu ini. Pemilihan untuk membuat lagu ini menjadi duet sebenarnya juga berasal dari ide awal Perri saat menulis lagu A Thousand Years versi awal. Saat itu ia mencoba menuliskan lagu dari dua sudut pandang, Bella dan Edward, hingga ia pun bisa dengan mudah mengubah lagu itu menjadi versi duet dengan Steve Kazee yang merupakan salah satu bintang Broadway, peraih Tony Award dan juga dianggap Perri sebagai pribadi yang paling cocok untuk menyanyikan lagu itu bersamanya. 

Perri mengatakan Kallman (produser) telah melihat potongan awal “Breaking Dawn - Part 2,” dimana para editor telah menggunakan “A Thousand Years” sebagai lagu sementara untuk salah satu adegan film yang paling mengharukan. Karena dirasa sangat cocok untuk adegan itu, mereka pun meminta Perri mengubah lagu itu menggunakan versi yang lebih panjang untuk digunakan di dalam film. Meski awalnya Perri sendiri amat terkejut dengan permintaan itu, namun ia pun langsung menerima tawaran itu dan mencoba menuliskan beberapa ide untuk menggubah lagu itu agar terdengar berbeda dibanding versi aslinya. ingin tau? yuk, didengar...
